Judith Gibbons, Kentucky Book Fair
In 2011, the Kentucky Book Fair is marking 30 years of “honoring writers; connecting authors and supporting libraries.”
Judith Gibbons is the chair of the Kentucky Book Fair Grants Committee. She teaches library science for the University of Kentucky and Bluegrass Community and Technical College.
The 2011 Kentucky Book Fair is November 12th, 2011, at the Frankfort Convention Center, 405 Mero Street, Frankfort. Hours are 9 to 4:30 p.m. Admission is free.
The Kentucky Book Fair, Inc., was founded in 1981.It is Kentucky's premier literary event and one of the largest of its kind in the nation.
Approximately 150 authors attend the Book Fair each year to autograph copies of their latest book. Some 4,000 to 5,000 patrons attend annually.
