1974 Tornadoes Retrospective

April 3rd, 1974, saw a super outbreak of tornadoes never seen before or since. Among the more than 100 tornadoes confirmed that day were funnels that hit, Louisville and Brandenburg, Kentucky and Hanover, Indiana.

This respective story looks specifically at Hanover, which saw several fatalities and damage that destroyed all area public schools and impacted 31 of 32 buildings on the campus of Hanover College.
