Cook with Mary is a service offering cooking instruction and catering for individuals and groups, adults and children.

Louisville Life introduces you to Owner Mary Wheatley. Mary teaches a wide range of cooking classes from Beginner Basics to International Cuisine. Learn how she's turned a life-long love of food and cooking into a recipe for a successful business.

Mary graduated from Sullivan University with a degree in Culinary Arts. She received the President's Award for Academic Excellence, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Mary’s signature style is working with locally available, fresh produce, herbs and natural ingredients to capture seasonal flavors at their height.

Mary Wheatley is the former Owner/Pastry Chef of Louisville's ˜Posh Pastries." After graduation, Mary re-entered the Food Industry as a manager for Breadworks. She also taught part-time with JCPS-Adult Education and Williams-Sonoma. After 4 1/2 years with Breadworks, Mary started "Cook With Mary," and hasn't looked back.

Mary can also be seen giving cooking demonstrations at the new St. Matthews Farmers Market.

Mary is a Louisville native and shares a 20+ year marriage with husband Tony. The couple has two children, Lauren and Logan. The newest member of the Wheatley household is their Yellow Lab, Brie.
