Bill Luster, Photographer
He may be short in stature, but he’s long on talent.
Photographer Bill Luster joined the staff of the Courier-Journal in 1969 where twice he's been part of a Pulitzer Prize winning team. The five-time recipient of Kentucky’s news photographer of the year award, Luster recently received the highest honor of the National Press Photographers Association, the Joseph A. Sprague Memorial Award.
Bill is an active member of Highland Baptist Church in Louisville, and lives in Louisville with his wife and his dog, Charlie. Their son lives in Hoboken, New Jersey and is a freelance writer.
