Girl Scout Cookies

One of the highlights of the year for any lover of sweets is Girl Scout cookie time. When Louisville Life visited the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana to learn more about a gala event kicking off cookie season 2007, we discovered that from Adventure Sports badges to prizes for top-producing cookie sellers, this is not your grandmother’s Girl Scouts. Our profile includes a tour of the Scouts’ new headquarters and a look at how the organization is preparing girls for life in the 21st century.
