Crane House

Louisville’s Asian population is growing. To get a taste of the traditions of this dynamic and diverse community, we peek inside the Crane House, a Victorian-era house in Old Louisville that’s now the city’s largest Asian culture center.

The Crane House is not open for public tours, but it offers a wealth of educational opportunities for schools, families, scout groups, and anyone else who wants to learn more about Asian cultures.

Program 115
New lives for old Louisville buildings, celebrating Chinese New Year at the Crane House, renovations at the historic U.S. Marine Hospital, and University of Louisville President Jim Ramsey. (#115)
