Farmington Historic Home

One home in Louisville has a particularly strong connection to African-American history. Farmington, on Bardstown Road, is Louisville’s oldest historic house museum. Formerly a hemp and tobacco plantation built and worked by slaves, it also has a historic connection to a famous visitor who would play a crucial part in abolishing slavery: Abraham Lincoln.
You can tour Farmington Tuesday through Saturday.
