Homemade Ice Cream and Pie Kitchen

Louisville's original Homemade Ice Cream and Pie Kitchen, at 2525 Bardstown Road, opened more than two decades ago. The neighborhood bakery and ice cream shop makes fresh pies and fresh churned ice cream each day.

The award-winning business originally started as a lunch counter. In the beginning, baking was only a small part of the business, but the demand for pies became so popular that pastry making soon took over. Then came the ice cream.

Today, Homemade Ice Cream and Pie Kitchen churns its own ice cream and bakes 100+ desserts, at nine Louisville Metro locations.
