Capriole Cheese

Capriole Farmstead Goat Cheeses are made by hand in southern Indiana, using only the milk of their own herd. As of production time, the farm is also the last working dairy in Floyd County.

The internationally-known, family-owned, Greenville, Indiana business was founded in 1976 and born from the desire for a sustainable lifestyle.

Capriole's farm store is open to the public for cheese purchases, but does not offer farm tours. "Louisville Life" introduces you to the Big Cheese at Capriole, Owner Judy Schad, and gives you behind-the-scenes access, in this Business segment.

This newsworthy business is also an award-winning one. Most recently, Capriole's Banon (a marinated goat cheese) was recognized by the American Cheese Society (ACS) with a 1st Place award.
