Resale Stores
Where do you go in Louisville to go green and save green? The answer is: resale stores, which offer shopping deals while keeping usable items out of landfills.
"Louisville Life" spotlights three local resale stores: Habitat ReStore, which benefits Habitat for Humanity and where you can find building items, furniture and plants; eyedia, design it again on Mellwood Avenue, which specializes in home decoration items and consignment furniture; and Fabulous Finds, a charity store benefiting the Heuser Hearing Institute and featuring home items, clothes and jewelry.
As a bonus, you’ll hear about the One for All store, a resale store at 1975 Douglass Boulevard (451-1963). One for All benefits people living with AIDS and HIV.
