Terry Meiners

How do you turn being the family joker into a professional gig? Well, that’s something we ask local broadcast legend Terry Meiners.

Terry Meiners has been a radio personality on WHAS-AM in Louisville, Kentucky, since 1985. The Terry Meiners Show airs weekdays from 3 P.M.- 7 P.M.

Terry is also a recognized face in the local TV market. He frequently appears in commercials and co-hosts the WHAS Crusade for Children, the long-running annual local telethon benefiting children's charities.

Louisville Life visits Terry in his home to learn about his childhood as one of 14 kids; how he got into the broadcast business and what continues to drive him after more than 30 years on radio.
