Dan Jones and 21st Century Parks

Inspired by landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted and those area residents who first aimed Louisville toward becoming a “City of Parks,” Dan Jones started 21st Century Parks in 2005.

The son of Humana founder David Jones, Dan Jones talks about his ambitious project which would dramatically expand the city’s park space. Jones’ non-profit is focusing first on the Floyd’s Fork watershed area where it will create a 4,000 acre public park system.
