Louisville Orchestra Documentary, "Music Makes a City"

Filmmaker Owsley Brown III, returned to Louisville to finish up his documentary film, "Music Makes A City: A Louisville Orchestra Story". Six years in the making, "Music Makes a City" chronicles the extraordinary achievements of the Louisville Orchestra during the 1950's.

"Louisville Life" caught up with the native Louisvillian and discussed his film, which focuses on the L.O.'s ground breaking success during the 1950's inspired by former mayor Charles Farnsley's cultural philosophy, putting Louisville within the international spotlight.

Other interviews featured are with current L.O.'s staffers, Exec. Dir. Rob Birman and Music Director Jorge Mester.
