In Performance at the Governor's Mansion
A showcase of Kentucky’s best and brightest performers, featuring music, dance, dramatic readings, poetry, and more.
Lexington Philharmonic

The Lexington Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. George Zack, is a professional orchestra performing a full season of classical and popular concerts in Lexington and surrounding areas. Among the pieces performed for In Performance were two works by Lexington composer Joseph Baber. His Heartland and Toyota Fanfare were inspired by Kentucky’s rural heritage and its growing importance as an industrial center.
