Rosemary Clooney

The one and only Rosemary Clooney was our special guest for this 1999 edition of In Performance. In this homecoming concert, she performs such favorites as “Foggy Day,” “I’ve Got a Crush on You,” “Funny Face,” and “Hey There,” plus a Johnny Mercer medley that includes “Hit the Road to Dreamland” and “I Remember You.” “Sweet Kentucky Ham” nods at her childhood roots in Maysville, while “Come On-a My House” celebrates her first big hit from 1951. She performs with the John Oddo Band.

The singer’s brother, Nick Clooney, a veteran broadcaster and former host of the AMC cable network, serves as special guest host. Among the highlights of the evening are the informal banter and reminiscing between the two Clooneys.
