Eileen Blanton, Peace Education Program

Eileen Blanton is the executive director of the Peace Education Program.

Since 1982, Peace Education Program has worked with local youth to help them take control of their lives, resolve conflicts constructively and accept responsibility for their actions. Together Peace Education Program, young people and their adult allies make schools and neighborhoods better places.

Approximately 15,000 young people benefit from the Peace Education every year. The program is at work in 42 community sites and 155 schools throughout the state of Kentucky and in Southern Indiana.

Peace Education Program is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. 2007 marks the program's 25th anniversary.
