Civil War

Louisville Life visits The Frazier History Museum to explore the political division of Kentucky as a border state during the Civil War.
The museum’s “Civil War: My Brother, My Enemy” exhibit features more than 100 artifacts, including a casket wagon once used by Cave Hill Cemetery to reinter soldiers; an exceptionally rare enlisted soldier’s uniform; slave documents; plantation horns; as well as a number of dresses, flags, surgical tools, photos and the historically significant Mary Todd Lincoln collection.
“Civil War: My Brother, My Enemy” runs October 15, 2011, through April 8, 2012.
