Keith Auerbach, photographer
Keith Auerbach is a native Louisvillian who received his B.A. in Art History from Northwestern University. He has studied photography at the San Francisco Art Institute, The California College of Arts and Crafts, and the University of Louisville.
For over fifteen years he had a regular photographic column on the editorial page of Louisville Eccentric Observer (LEO), a weekly newspaper. He is currently a member of PYRO, a Co-op Art Gallery and has recently published his first book
His photographic images have won Regional and National awards, the most recent of which is being published in the Best Pictures of the Year 2007 Annual and winning a Nationally juried competition resulting in a New York exhibition.
Besides his donation of pictures to Gilda’s Club, he regularly donates pictures to Louisville Visual Arts (LVAA), St. Francis High School, Actors Theatre, and the Center for Women and Families fundraisers.
