Louisville Sustainability Forum

Headlines about global warming have made many people more aware of environmental issues. But for some, every day is Earth Day. The founders of the Louisville Sustainability Forum are dedicated to building a network of people to work toward a greener, more sustainable city.

Two organizations highlighted in this Louisville Life profile are the Passionist Earth & Spirit Center and Breaking New Grounds, a composting venture created by the co-owners of Heine Brothers Coffee.

To learn more about the goals of the LSF and what it’s doing to help make Louisville a greener place, e-mail one of the co-founders: Gary Heine or Father Joe Mitchell.
