Highland Renaissance Festival

Time travel is possible ... and right in your own backyard!

At the Highland Renaissance Festival take a journey back to 14th and 15th century Scotland.

Located in Eminence, Ky., just a short drive from Louisville, you'll see historical re-enactments, full-contact jousting, and bellydancers. There are craft demonstrations, games for all ages, and a petting zoo for exciting family fun. Plus, enjoy period music, shop various vendors, and much more.

In this segment we hit the road for a preview of this annual event, which has been pleasing crowds since 2006.

The 2009 Season will open on Saturday May 30th and run through July 19th. The Festival is open weekends only, 10:00am - 7:00pm, rain or shine. The festival runs for eight weeks.
