Chef Joe Castro and GE

GE "brings good things to life", and he brings good food to GE.

Chef Joe Castro spent 14 years as the executive chef of the English Grill at Louisville's Brown Hotel. His latest endeavor takes him to General Electric, as the Monogram Training Specialist at the new GE Experience Center (located at Appliance Park).

In his new role, Castro trains architects, designers, contractors and other home-industry professionals on the benefits of GE's Monogram appliances. Castro also prepares all the meals for the visitors during their session at the Experience Center.

A theatre for the senses, the Monogram Experience Center is a 10,000-sq.-ft. complex filled with an array of spaces designed to showcase the latest in Monogram appliance innovation. The facility even includes a wine-tasting room!

And because it isn't open to the general public, Louisville Life is your exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the experience.
