Food Literacy Project

In this segment we meet the Director, Carol Gundersen, and students from Jefferson County Public Schools as they learn the processes and products of organic and local agriculture. The Food Literacy Project promotes hands-on agricultural education programs as well as professional development for educators. Their inquiry-based approach to teaching emphasizes real experience, and participants are encouraged to use all their senses to explore the farm.
