David “The Incredible” Inman
When it comes to TV trivia, he’s the answer man: David Inman is the guy Louisvillians (and residents of dozens of other cities) call The Incredible Inman.
The Louisville Courier-Journal hired Inman for its TV column 25 years ago. Thousands of columns later, he’s still answering readers’ questions, although today he gets about 20 percent more e-mails than letters. And he hears from plenty of places other than Louisville. His column appears in several dozen newspapers, in markets ranging from big cities like Boston, Cincinnati, and Indianapolis to Chillicothe, OH and Great Falls, MT.
Inman has also authored several TV tomes, including the well-received Randy, Cactus, Uncle Ed and the Golden Age of Louisville Television (Regency Books).Learn much more about Inman in our Season Five follow-up.
