Kentucky Author Forum

In this segment Louisville Life takes you behind-the-scenes of Kentucky Author Forum, featuring Tom Brokaw. Brokaw is a former news anchor most known for his 21-year stint on NBC Nightly News.

Brokaw stepped down as anchor and managing editor of NBC Nightly News in 004, but has continued reporting and producing documentaries for NBC News, as well as providing expertise during breaking news events.

He has received numerous honors during his career, including the Edward R. Murrow Lifetime Achievement Award and the Emmy Award for Lifetime Achievement. Brokaw has also been inducted into the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

Kentucky Author Forum Presents , a KET production, opened its 11th season with Brokaw in December 2007. It was filmed on location at the Kentucky Center for the Arts in downtown Louisville.
