Meet film producer and entrepreneur Gill Holland and you'll wonder if there is anything he doesn't do!
"Louisville Life" travels to Gill's newly renovated Green Building to talk about his progressive plans for the East Market Street area ... and his many pursuits in the film, publishing and music industries.
Gill's Green Building is a 110-year-old former dry goods store that he has turned into a sustainable environmentally-friendly commercial building. The mixed-use facility will include a café, garden, art gallery and even an event space upon completion.
Gill has also had a successful career in independent film - working with the likes of Christina Ricci and Kate Hudson. His film production and talent management company is The Group Entertainment, which has an office in Louisville.
Gill's contemporary art gallery, Gallery NuLu (632 E Market), exhibits both local and national artists. "NuLu" refers to the area of “new Louisville” - the flourishing creative corridor of East Market Street.
Gill also runs Sonablast! Records and publishing company Holland Brown Books.
