We all know Louisville’s got history by the volumes… even the city’s hospitality is historical. Louisville Life looks at two local and legendary hotels with more stories than floors: the Seelbach and the Brown.

The famous Hot Brown

We travel both ends of Fourth Street to learn more about: the Seelbach, opened in 1905 and host to nine U.S. presidents and Al Capone; and The Brown, opened in 1923, on the National Register of Historic Places and the namesake of Louisville’s most famous dish, the Hot Brown.
