Host Candyce Clifft
Candyce grew up in Bolivar, TN, a small town near Memphis. Friends report that she developed a fascination with television and news early on, pretending to be the 3rd-grade version of Connie Chung.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in English/journalism from Tennessee Technological University, where she worked for the campus newspaper and radio station, she went on to earn a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She worked for KOMU-TV and KBIA-FM in Columbia and KMOX in St. Louis before moving to Louisville in 1997 to join the Fox 41 news team. She and Barry Bernson are the news co-anchors for the weekday Fox in the Morning show.
Candyce is married and has two children, a daughter and a son. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, playing the piano, and keeping up with sports of all kinds.
