Feature Story: St. Francis of Assisi School's Holocaust education program. Instructor Fred Whitaker, who has been nationally recognized for teaching his students about the Holocaust (and the students have been noted for their efforts in the Darfur crisis), received the 2006 Outstanding Educator Award from the Anne Frank Center. We bring you his story.
Guest: In the midst of National Multiple Sclerosis Month, we visit with Whitney Vogle - Director of Development for National Multiple Sclerosis Society Kentucky-Southeast Indiana Chapter. Vogle discusses Louisville’s 2008 MS walk, the chapter’s June bike ride, and the services the chapter provides for local individuals and families affected by MS.

Around Town: They're an unusual site at local events - the Squallis Puppeteers are a constantly evolving troupe of puppet enthusiasts with a myriad of talents. Learn more about them. Plus, we visit the out-of-this-world Gheens Science Hall and Rauch Planetarium, located on the University of Louisville's campus.
Etc.: The "Little Colonel" series is a semi-biographical opus of 13 novels dealing with the aristocracy of old Kentucky. In a film, starring Shirley Temple, the Little Colonel danced her way into our hearts. Nearly 75 years later, the book series that inspired it has garnered a new audience, via multiple statewide exhibitions. Learn about The Little Colonel's Louisville links.
