Feature Story: Dance into the holidays as "Louisville Life" goes behind the scenes at the Louisville Ballet, to witness a magical makeover of a seasonal fixture. 2009 marked the world premiere of Val Caniparoli's "The Brown-Forman Nutcracker", complete with all-new choreography, costumes, scenery and special touches.

Etc.: It's time for the annual Grawemeyer Awards, international awards in humanities and social science given through an endowment by the University of Louisville. Et Cetera profiles the man whose name and charity lives on through them.

Guest: We introduce Allan Dittmer, executive director of the Grawemeyer Awards, to learn even more about the man who started them and the 2009 recipients.

Around Town: "Louisville Life" travels to Versailles, Ky., to meet sculptor Alexa King, whose "Barbaro" statue memoralizes the 2006 Kentucky Derby Winner at Churchill Downs.  Plus, it's kept a line-up of laughs coming for 22 years.  We visit the Comedy Caravan and its founder, Tom Sobel, and the club's new owner.
