Louisville Life first visits Blackacre State Nature Preserve. Located only 25 minutes from downtown Louisville, it's a place where urban children can still “see what a farm was like.”

Then, we interview Mayor Greg Fischer about his accomplishments two years into his term, and his plans for Louisville’s future.

We stop by Adrienne & Co. Bakery and Café across the river in downtown Jeffersonville, Ind. In addition to sampling award-winning cakes and pastries, Louisville Life shows viewers the café’s selection of classic deli sandwiches, salads, wraps, and house-made pastas.

Finally, we shine a light on The Marcus Lindsey, a landmark downtown church that has been turned into a living and event space by Louisvillians Pip and Susan Pullen-Swope. The venue is a unique space, and its preservation is important to the city and to the increasingly hip NuLu neighborhood.
