Dick van Kleeck, Kentucky Center for the Arts
Dick van Kleeck, currently the Assistant Vice President and Director of Programs for the Kentucky Center for the Arts (KCA), has had a lifetime association with the musical and performing arts. He has spent time as a professional musician playing with many symphonic, chamber, ballet, opera, Broadway and early music ensembles including the Boston Pops, Boston Ballet, Australian Ballet (with Rudolf Nureyev), Vermont Symphony, Cambridge Brass Quintet, Vox Nova and Banchetto Musicale among many others. As a member of the Dartmouth College music faculty, Mr. van Kleeck has also served as Music Director and Conductor for various musical and dramatic productions. He has brought many specials and concert series to the KCA including the Bingham Concert Series, New Directions In Dance Series, Special Events, Lonesome Pine Specials Concert and Radio Series, The Thursday Sessions (chamber), The Lonesome Pine Follies (theatre) and The Midnite Ramble Series.
