Cheryl Skinner, Musician

Cheryl Skinner

Cheryl Lynne, Skinner is a native of Winchester, Kentucky and since she can remember, music has played an important role in her life. From piano lessons at age 8, and flute in band, to vocals in the church choir, somehow she has known her destination. To satisfy an insatiable thirst for more musical knowledge, she received a Bachelor of Music in performance from the University of Louisville and studied commercial music at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. Ms. Skinner says, "As every artist knows, you spend years listening to and learning from the masters until the turning point where you begin to listen to the greatest master of them all, the still, small voice of God within yourself. It is in that space that you create your most memorable melodies and make your greatest contribution to your art." Cheryl has performed both in concerts and in clubsin Chicago, Louisville, Kentucky, Lexington, Kentucky, Los Angeles, and in the Washington DC area.
