Janey Robertson, Louisville Dulcimer Society

Janey Robertson was born in Richmond, Kentucky and grew up on a farm near Boonesborough. Mrs. Robertson graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a double major in art and history. Her music reading skills were so poor, that she did not dream of majoring in music. She met and married Bob Robertson and after some army travel and company transfers they settled in Louisville where they raised their family. Along the way Janey acquired and learned to play ukulele, banjo, guitar, and the dulcimer. She joined the Louisville Dulcimer Society in 1987 and has been writing the newsletter since 1991.
