Kristi Papailler-Berkley, Juneteenth Festival

Kristi Papailler-Berkley

Kristi Papailler-Berkley (Associate Producer; Young Rosa) is a Louisville native and performer, director and producer of over 30 full productions and staged readings. Kristi has worked with the Festival since its inception in 1997. She is directing "Serving Two Masters," and acting in "A Collective Piss and the Devil's Beating His Wife" -- two of the four plays on the Blue Program of Lorna Littleway's Juneteenth Festival of New Plays. Kristi has also directed the one-act, "Kindler Genter Nation," at the Kentucky Center Mex Theater as well as having directed for the Pleadies Theatre Company. Also, among her professional credits, she is the former director of Canaan's Community Development Corporation's Academy for the Arts, and a former Blue Apple Player. Kristi has also appeared in several locally-produced films, commercials, and industrials. She currently serves the board of the Black Theatre Network as presidential assistant. Kristi has a four year-old daughter, Maya, who made her stage debut under the direction of Lorna Littleway in excerpts from "Twilight Los Angeles, 1992."
