Nancy Bronner, Arts Across Kentucky
![]() Although Nancy Bronner has always been interested in art and craft, her first professional career was as a clinical specialist and administrator in psychiatric nursing. Her second career as a writer and magazine editor was prompted by a love for her adopted state of Kentucky and a return to school to work on a degree in art education. Working on Arts Across Kentucky magazine, she says, gives her an opportunity to learn about all kinds of traditional craft, original art, art history, performing arts, literary arts, and the wide range in between. Arts Across Kentucky is a four-color quarterly dedicated to promoting the arts in and around the state, published as a nonprofit project by Crystal Communications. Each issue is replete with articles and information about visual artists working in two- and three-dimensional media; musicians and musical groups of all kinds, from orchestras and bands to individual vocalists and singing ensembles; fiction writers, poets, and storytellers; regional and international travel and cuisine; and arts-related organizations.
