Tyrone Cotton, Musician


Tyrone Cotton

Tyrone Cotton, a guitarist, singer, and songwriter from Louisville, is currently performing on the local music scene promoting his CD, a self-titled collection of nine songs.

Cotton’s music is a blend of several styles, including blues, folk, and pop. He enjoys the music of such diverse artists as Taj Mahal, Jimi Hendrix, Mississippi John Hurt, and Joni Mitchell.

As part of the Louisville scene, Tyrone has performed in venues such as Twice Told Coffeehouse, Rudyard Kipling, Barretones, and Phoenix Hill Tavern. He has also ventured out of his hometown to participate in events such as the Jack Kerouac Festival in Lowell, MA and has shared his music in night clubs in Japan. He is comfortable both as a solo performer and in ensemble settings.
