Scott Roaden, Native American Flute Maker


Scott RoadenJ. Scott Roaden is a Native American flute maker, storyteller, and musician from the town of Tyner in southeastern Kentucky. He has many other talents and experiences in life and in business, which he puts to work as the owner of Knot Perfect Gift Boxes.

Scott is also the founder of Cause Pause Inc., a nonprofit organization based on the idea that everyone should “pause a moment for the arts” every day. CPI arranges classes and other events in the arts and humanities.

Over the years, Scott has traveled widely, sharing his craft and stories with audiences in several countries. Highlights have included a meeting with President Clinton in 1999 and a trip to England for an arts and humanities exhibition, where he demonstrated flute making and told stories to the many visitors daily.
