Joe Hanna, Singer/Songwriter

Joe Hanna

Singer/songwriter Joe Hanna is a New Jersey native who now lives in Louisville, having moved to Kentucky from Charlestown, WV to major in voice at Bellarmine University. A classically trained singer, he also plays acoustic guitar and harmonica, performing both covers and his own original music.

Joe Hanna and bandThe CD release highlighted in his Mixed Media performance, entitled Machine, showcases his songwriting skills in a full-band setting. But it wasn’t Joe’s first solo record, nor his first recording of original music. He also has two albums with Goodnight Maxine, a band in which he was the frontman, as well as the independently released Conversations (1992) to his credit.

Machine was produced and largely co-written with long-time friend and musical collaborator Scott Anthony.
