Judy Miner, Potter

Judy Miner Judy Miner received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in ceramics from the University of Louisville under Tom Marsh. She has continued to further explore clay at craft centers nationwide with many of today’s foremost potters. Judy has created architectural installations from Hawaii to Kentucky, including custom-made, one-of-a-kind porcelain sinks, cabinet knobs, and tile.

Judy Miner bowlJudy lives and works beside the Ohio River. On daily walks, she delights in watching herons, loons, a myriad of ducks, beaver, deer, and the mighty river rolling on and on. The always-changing but constant beauty of the river challenges, inspires, and most certainly humbles her, she says. It is a profound, intimate influence that permeates her work.
