Artist’s Statement

“Although I’ve studied in Piestrasanta, Italy, and my work has likewise found residence in numerous other countries overseas, it’s as though destiny instills a demand on location. I suspect most people dream of traveling far more than they ever do; but in a strange sense each time a piece of mine embarks upon a new journey, so, too, do I feel myself transcending the bounds of my Bluegrass home. Even if I wished to leave, I don’t believe I ever could.”
