Dan Fedie, Louisville Ballet


Dan Fedie

Dan Fedie is entering his 14th year as costume master with the Louisville Ballet. A native of Wisconsin, Dan earned his B.S. in speech and theater from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and an M.F.A. in costume design from the University of Illinois Champaign/Urbana.

Before joining the ballet, Dan served as costume shop manager for Stage One and the Kentucky Shakespeare Festival. He has worked as a technician for such organizations as Studio Arena Theatre, Actors Theatre of Louisville, the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, the Utah Shakespeare Festival, the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, and the Kentucky Opera. His costume design credits include The Legend of Sleepy Hollow for Stage One, Romeo and Juliet and Hamlet for a Shakespeare festival, and A Time To Remember for the Louisville Ballet.
