Most Wanted

Most Wanted

Formed in 1997 by guitarist/vocalist Debbie DeVore and drummer/vocalist Rosie Taylor, Most Wanted got its name after the two watched America’s Most Wanted on TV. They then discovered vocalist Cheryl Henry during an open-mike night, and bassist Denise Manship joined the group soon after.

While Cheryl is the main songwriter, all four members contribute ideas and songs. They are self-taught musicians and close friends, taking frequent weekend trips together with their families.

Cheryl Henry Most Wanted’s Mixed Media performance features songs from the CD Just My Skin, which was two years in the making. Juggling full-time day jobs and recording on their off-time, the band members brought 12 original songs to the studio, 11 of which ended up on the album. Some of the tracks are autobiographical, “but we’ll never tell about who,” says Rosie. A mix of classic rock and blues, Just My Skin has something for everyone. At the time of this TV appearance, the band was planning another release for the spring of 2003.
