Kentucky Artisan Center

The Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea is operated by the Kentucky state Tourism Development Cabinet. Opened in summer 2003, the center celebrates Kentucky’s artisan heritage with the goal of encouraging Kentuckians and those traveling through the state to enjoy artisan-crafted products and related activities.

Debby Giannini Debby Giannini provides our tour of the $8.75 million facility, which is located just off Interstate 75. It includes a shop featuring Kentucky-made arts, crafts, and foods; arts and historical exhibits; a restaurant; and spaces for arts demonstrations, readings, and performances.
