John Gage is program director for the Great Kentucky Gospel Shout Out, an annual statewide competition celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2003. In his Mixed Media visit, he previews the finals to be held October 19 on the Belvedere outside the Kentucky Center in Louisville.

Over the course of the summer, more than 30 gospel groups competed for the final four spots in the Gospel Shout Out at regional showcases held around the Commonwealth. This preview of a KET production to air early in 2004 features performances from showcases in Owensboro, Hazard, Paducah, Louisville, Ashland, Bowling Green, Hopkinsville, and Lexington.
