PASIC, the Percussive Arts Society International Convention, is one of the largest annual gatherings for percussionists in the world. PASIC 2003 will be held at Louisville’s Kentucky International Convention Center from November 19 to 22.

Rick Mattingly, local host of the event, explains that the exhibit hall at PASIC features displays by more than 125 percussion manufacturers and publishers—all members of the Percussive Arts Society. Attendees can try out and compare the widest possible assortment of drum sets, cymbals, mallet-keyboard instruments, sticks, marching percussion instruments, hand drums, and symphonic percussion instruments and check out all the new and classic instructional and performance music.

The exhibit hall will be open Thursday-Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm ET during the convention.
