Rebecca Howell, Poet


Rebecca Howell Rebecca Howell is a native of Kentucky and remains committed to the community in which she was raised. She is the editor of Wind: A Journal of Writing & Community, Kentucky’s longest-running literary journal; an instructor in the University of Kentucky English Department; and a member of the advisory committee for the annual Kentucky Women Writers Conference at UK.

Rebecca also teaches creative writing for the Gaines Center for the Humanities, the Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning, and the Robinson’s Scholars Program. She is a recent recipient of an Artist Enrichment Grant from the Kentucky Foundation for Women toward the completion of her first poetry collection.
