Joel Pett, Cartoonist

Joel Pett

Joel Pett is an editorial cartoonist based in Lexington. His work appears five days a week in the Lexington Herald-Leader, with frequent reprints in USA Today, the Washington Post, the Boston Globe, and numerous other national publications.

Joel Pett Joel uses his self-described “scratches, scrawls, and hieroglyphics” to vent his frustrations with social injustice and the powers that be, and he has no intention of reining in his points of view. In April 2004, he helped organize and host the annual convention for the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists in Lexington.
