Hells 1/2 Acre
Hells 1/2 Acre is making a name for itself in Louisville (the bands home base) and throughout southeastern Kentucky with its own unique vision of what country, rock, popyou name itsound like all put together. The four group members have performed with and opened for some familiar names, including BR-549, DBT, MMJ, and the Shack Shakers.
Founder Rankin Mapother plays the bass and is one of the bands two songwriters. Lead singer Little John Louie plays guitar, helps write the songs, and carries the band in vocals. Glen Howerton keeps the beat going with his forceful, song-oriented drumming. And lead guitarist John Hawkins is a regional legend.
