Ironhorse Forge

Ironhorse Forge Chris Casey and Tony Higdon

In January 2000, long-time friends and University of Kentucky alumni Chris Casey and Tony Higdon founded Ironhorse Forge in Lexington with the goal of turning out high-quality metal furnishings and architectural elements. Tony is accomplished in forge work and blacksmithing, while Chris excels in metal framing and structural work.

Ironhorse’s customer list includes many of the most notable local building contractors, architects, and interior designers. Chris and Tony collaborate with the finest local artisans, working in wood, stone, and glass, to design and produce fine art furnishings and other pieces necessary to complete interior and exterior projects of any scale.

The two co-founders see a promising future for their forge. Their growing reputation for excellence in their field has led to increasing demand for their skills and a full calendar of unique projects.
