Tim Lewis, Stone Carver
![]() Tim Lewis, a self-taught stone carver who lives in Isonville, creates everything from Biblical scenes to animals and popular figures out of sandstone that has been salvaged from chimneys of burned houses. In addition to being held in many important private collections, Tims work is owned by the Mennello Museum in Orlando, FL; the Columbus (OH) Museum of Art; the Owensboro Museum of Fine Art; the Smithsonian Institution; and the Kentucky Folk Art Center in Morehead. Tim also was commissioned to do a permanent installation for the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.
